Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files a site may store in your browser to remember preferences, keep sessions or understand how the service is used. Equivalent technologies (for example, local storage) may be used for similar purposes.

2. Cookies we use

Language preference: a first-party cookie named “locale” remembers the language you chose so later visits can show the site in that language. It is a preference / basic functionality cookie.

Admin session and security: when an authorised user signs in to the admin area, Laravel may use session and CSRF cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and security.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or invasive analytics tools on the public site in the configuration described here.

3. Purpose

We use these cookies to remember your language, keep the site and admin panel working securely, and help prevent abuse. Without the language cookie the site can still work, but you may need to choose the language again or a default detection will be used.

4. Retention

The language cookie is kept for a long period (about one year) to remember your preference. Admin session cookies usually expire when the session ends or according to server configuration.

5. How to manage them

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you remove the language cookie, the site may detect language from headers again or use the default language.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent access to the admin panel.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Chile, without prejudice to mandatory rights that may apply to the user.
